MAKE IT CONCRETE

Different everyday questions.

Wallet to wallet

Start with the receiving address.

A transfer joins an asset, a network and a destination. Check those three together before thinking about timing or fees.

ONE TICKER ≠ ONE NETWORK

THE NETWORK MATTERS

The same asset name. A different route.

A token can exist on more than one blockchain. The sender and receiver need a compatible route; matching the ticker alone is not enough.

  1. Confirm the asset and the exact network.
  2. Check that the receiver supports that network.
  3. Review the complete address and fees.

THE NEXT STEP

Simple from the start.

01

Choose the asset

Know which token and network the receiver accepts.

02

Review the details

Check the address, network, total fees and amount to be received.

03

Understand confirmation

Network confirmation time varies. Check the transaction on the relevant explorer.

FOUR WORDS, LESS CONFUSION

Know the words. Understand the payment.

Open a term to see what it means in a payment journey.

Token

An asset represented on a blockchain. Its name or ticker does not, by itself, tell you which network to use.

Network fee

A charge for recording a transaction or executing work on a network. It differs from a separate service charge.

Confirmation

The network validates and records a transaction. The time and required confirmations can differ by network and receiving service.

Token approval

Some applications request permission to use a token. Read the scope and recipient before signing; approval differs from a normal transfer.

A LITTLE CLARITY

Good questions. Clear answers.

Does this page accept payments?

No. This page explains crypto payment concepts and does not process payments or request a wallet connection.

Are all USDT networks interchangeable?

No. Sender and receiver must use a compatible network. Always verify the chain as well as the address.

Is a stablecoin risk-free?

No. Stablecoins can have issuer, reserve, market and network risks. A target price is not a guarantee.
